Alison Price-McGinnis, CICA
Alison Price-McGinnis joined IALEIA in 1998 and has been an active member of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter where she co-hosted Quarterly Analyst Workshops for the past 10 years. She is a Certified Intelligence Crime Analyst with 17 years of law enforcement experience at state, regional and federal levels.
She began her career with the Mid-Atlantic Great Lakes Organized Crime Law Enforcement Network (MAGLOCLEN) where she concentrated on Street Gangs and Dominican Organized Crime. She then worked at the New Jersey State Police as a Geographic Information Specialist identifying problem areas related to location utilizing crime events and demographics to recommend solutions and minimize criminal activity. In 2002, she moved to the Department of Justice, first serving with the U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Pennsylvania working on Project Safe Neighborhood’s firearm reduction initiatives. In 2006, she joined the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) as an Intelligence Research Specialist in the Philadelphia Field Division supporting the Violent Crime, Firearms Trafficking and Arson Groups. In early 2015, she accepted a position at ATF Headquarters in Washington DC as the Intelligence Program Manager in the Next Generation Case Management Group.
Alison is looking forward to her position on the International Board, supporting the analyst community and helping to grow the IALEIA membership.
