Lynn A. McCloskey
Lynn has served as a Criminal Intelligence Analyst with the Illinois State Police since 1992. Lynn is assigned to the Motor Vehicle Theft Intelligence Clearinghouse oversees all Clearinghouse analytical activities and produces numerous analytical products in support of the Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Council. She previously served in the Center for Crime Gun Information and Analysis, Violent Crime, and Sex Offender Registration Units. She also served in the Clearinghouse from 1992 through 1996. Lynn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University. During her career as an analyst, Lynn has produced numerous analytical products including link analysis charts for federal and state prosecutions, geographic analysis, investigative targets, telephone toll analysis, time series analysis, and assisted in program development. She has provided instruction to task forces, public groups, the Illinois Law Enforcement Intelligence Network (ILEIN) and the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts, (IALEIA). Lynn has been a Foundations of Intelligence Analysis (FIAT) instructor for IALEIA since 2004 and the IALEIA Communications Director since 2009. Lynn was recognized by IALEIA in 2009 as one of the recipients of the President's Award for the professionalism exhibited as an instructor in the FIAT program and is an IALEIA Criminal Intelligence Certified Analyst (CICA).
